i have a friend that has been transferred to shanghai to work for three months,once i asked her: what do you like best about SH? Her answer was: Nothing but shopping. She has got a point there. shanghai might disappoint you in many respects, but it would never disappoint you when it comes to shopping. This city offers a great variety of commodity,from all those big brands to the cheap second-hand clothes,in this big metropolise, Shopping is THE thing to do and the mall is THE place to go. Unfortunately,it hasn't stopped raining since the day i landed. anyway, the rain won't stop my steps.with a pair of comfortable shoes and my shopping companion, i was ready to hit the road. two girls spent the whole afternoon walking in the rain, checking out every store in sight, bargaining with the shop owner,i almost ran out of cash as i picked up another outfit.....ah, thank god, there is still a debit card in my purse. i guess shopping is the best way to realise tension. as my debit card was going to meet the limits, i was totally frenshen up, i nearly forgot what life is like in that coal-mine city, i don't care, now all my hard work had its payback, with money still burning a hole in my pocket, i only had one thought in mind--shopping. after the shopping, my friend and i went for Curry, i was in a mood for Indian food,and my friend happend to know this good curry restaurant close to the shopping mall. it was nice and cozy, the perfect place to have a heart-to-heart talk. this is a city you could buy anything you want anytime. you could get up at 10am and still get brunch. you could get hard liqure even you are under 18-year-old. you don't have to drink on an empty stomache, there are 24-hours convinience store selling hot food at every corner. there's even night tour in the city that could garantee you go back home at dawn, This is a city that never sleeps, this is a city you would never get dull with. you would never have enought of it:-) for more infor and pictures, please visit my travel blog:http://susanna21.spaces.live.com/
